About the Authors

Frances cochrane

Frances is an Educational Designer within the directorate of Learning, Teaching and Student Engagement at James Cook University.  Frances supports academic staff to plan, design, and deliver inclusive learning and teaching experiences for students.  Frances is also a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist and previously a lecturer in speech pathology at James Cook University.

Trine Paerata

Trine is a Learning Technologist and user experience advocate with a focus on support, learning, technologies, design, and communication. In her role within the directorate of Learning, Teaching and Student Engagement Trine works with educational designers, learning environments, and academic staff to support a student-centred approach to technology-enhanced learning.

 

Technical and Editorial Support

Sharon Bryan

Sharon is the Blended Learning Librarian for James Cook University Library. In this role Sharon works to develop, maintain, and assess flexible innovative blended and flexible learning designs for the Library and Information Services (LIS) digital and information literacies framework.

Alice Luetchford

Alice is the Open Education Librarian for James Cook University Library, assisting in the discovery, adaptation, publishing, description, licensing, and reuse of Open Education Resources.

Jennifer Francis

Jennifer is a LearnJCU Support Officer providing technical support of the Learning Management System and its integrations to JCU staff and students.
